WHAT IS A GICLEÉ?
Museum Quality Fine Art Gicleé Prints
Gicleé (pronounced jheeCLAY) is a term used for inkjet printing on fine papers or canvas using archival inks (tested to last for over 100 years with no noticable fading). Images are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates including canvas, fine art and photo-base paper. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction. There is no other method to produce a finer quality fine art print. (Gicleé is derived from the french verb gicler meaning to squirt.)
